Off-Chain Computation Nodes

Computation

Off-chain computation nodes are external processing units that execute complex calculations for decentralized applications, alleviating the computational burden on the main blockchain network. These nodes perform tasks such as options pricing, risk modeling, and data aggregation, which are too resource-intensive to run directly on-chain due to high gas costs and latency constraints. The results of these computations are then relayed back to the smart contract via an oracle network.
