Asynchronous Verification

Verification

Asynchronous verification in decentralized finance (DeFi) refers to a mechanism where the validation of a transaction or state change occurs separately from its initial submission. This approach decouples the execution layer from the settlement layer, allowing for faster transaction throughput on the execution side. In contrast to synchronous systems where immediate confirmation is required, asynchronous verification allows for a delay between a transaction’s inclusion in a block and its final, irreversible confirmation.
