Collateralized Data Integrity

Mechanism

Collateralized Data Integrity refers to the technical process of anchoring off-chain financial information to on-chain cryptographic proofs within crypto derivatives markets. It ensures that the inputs used for liquidations, margin calls, and option pricing remain tamper-proof and verifiable by all network participants. By requiring providers to stake assets against the accuracy of their data, the system creates a direct economic deterrent against the submission of fraudulent or manipulated price feeds.
