MEV Boost Implementation

Architecture

MEV Boost functions as a middleware component designed to democratize access to block production revenue by separating the role of the validator from the block builder. This implementation leverages an external relay to aggregate transaction bundles from a competitive market of searchers, effectively shifting the burden of optimal block construction away from the individual node operator. The resulting framework mitigates centralizing pressures by allowing diverse participants to engage in sophisticated transaction ordering without maintaining direct, resource-intensive mempool monitoring.
