ZK-Composability

Architecture

ZK-Composability, within cryptographic systems, denotes the capacity for zero-knowledge proofs to be chained and integrated, enabling complex computations to be verified without revealing underlying data. This characteristic is particularly relevant in decentralized finance, allowing for the construction of sophisticated financial instruments and protocols with enhanced privacy and scalability. The ability to compose these proofs facilitates the creation of layered applications where the validity of each layer is cryptographically guaranteed by the layers beneath, reducing trust assumptions. Consequently, ZK-Composability expands the design space for privacy-preserving decentralized applications, moving beyond isolated use cases to interconnected systems.
