Relayer Model

Function

The relayer model in decentralized finance describes an architecture where off-chain entities, known as relayers, facilitate the submission of signed, but unbroadcasted, transactions to a blockchain. These relayers do not custody assets but provide a service for users, often by paying gas fees on their behalf or aggregating orders. Their primary function is to enhance user experience and reduce friction by abstracting away the complexities of direct blockchain interaction. This model optimizes network resource usage.
