MEV Attack Vectors

Definition

MEV attack vectors refer to the various methods by which block producers or sophisticated actors can extract Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) from blockchain transactions. MEV represents the profit block producers can make by arbitrarily including, excluding, or reordering transactions within a block. These vectors exploit the transparency of mempools and the deterministic nature of blockchain execution. This practice can lead to significant economic inefficiencies and unfairness for ordinary users.
