The reliance on computational power introduces susceptibility to attacks like 51% attacks in Proof-of-Work systems, challenging the notion of absolute immutability. Consequently, a pragmatic approach focuses on minimizing risk through robust design, continuous auditing, and layered security measures rather than pursuing an unachievable state of absolute certainty.
