Spot Market

The spot market is where assets are traded for immediate delivery. In crypto, this means buying or selling actual tokens.

Transactions settle almost instantly, and ownership is transferred directly. Unlike derivatives, the spot market does not involve leverage, funding fees, or expiration dates.

It is the foundation for all derivative pricing.
