Pre-Confirmation Mechanisms

Mechanism

Pre-confirmation mechanisms are protocols or techniques that provide a probabilistic or conditional guarantee of a transaction’s inclusion in a future block, even before it has been formally confirmed by the blockchain network. These mechanisms typically involve a trusted third party, a specialized validator set, or a commitment from miners/validators to include a transaction. They aim to reduce perceived latency and improve user experience for time-sensitive operations. This allows for faster provisional finality.
