Orphaned Block Resolution

Block

Orphaned blocks, in the context of cryptocurrency, represent finalized blocks on a blockchain that are no longer referenced by subsequent blocks, effectively becoming isolated segments of the chain. This isolation typically arises from a fork in the blockchain, where one branch becomes dominant, leaving the other branch, containing the orphaned block, abandoned. The consequence is that the transactions within the orphaned block are not incorporated into the main, accepted chain, though they may have initially been considered valid.
