Change Address Patterns

Architecture

Change address patterns represent the structural mechanism within UTXO-based distributed ledgers where residual funds from a transaction are directed to a new, unique public key address. This operational design maintains the separation of inputs and outputs while ensuring that the sender retains control over unspent capital through distinct cryptographic keys. By routing the balance back to a generated address rather than the originating input, the system obscures the total spend profile and limits the exposure of the primary wallet identity.
