## Volume Profile Strategy

A volume profile strategy uses the distribution of volume at various price levels to build a trading plan. Unlike time-based charts, this approach focuses on the horizontal distribution of volume, revealing the price levels that participants value the most.

Strategies include trading off high-volume nodes as support or resistance and fading moves that extend into low-volume areas. Because low-volume areas lack participant interest, price often moves through them quickly.

Conversely, high-volume areas act as congestion zones. This strategy is highly effective for determining trade locations with a high probability of success.

It is a data-driven approach that ignores the noise of time and focuses strictly on where the capital has flowed.
