Volume Nodes

Volume Nodes are specific price areas characterized by concentrated trading volume, visible as spikes on a Volume Profile chart. High-volume nodes indicate price levels where the market spent significant time and traded a large number of contracts, suggesting strong consensus.

Conversely, low-volume nodes are areas where the price moved quickly, indicating a lack of interest or consensus at those levels. These nodes act as technical milestones; high-volume nodes often function as support or resistance, while low-volume nodes represent areas where the price is likely to move rapidly if the market momentum shifts.

Traders use Volume Nodes to map out potential target zones and identify where the market is likely to stall or accelerate. This analysis is essential for navigating the complex liquidity landscape of derivatives.
