Validator reputation scores are quantitative metrics used to assess the reliability and past performance of a validator node. These scores typically aggregate data on uptime, historical participation in consensus, and compliance with network rules.

In many systems, delegators use these scores to decide which validators to support with their tokens. A high reputation score signals to the network that the validator is trustworthy and capable of maintaining stable operations.
