## Stability Fees

Stability fees are the interest rates charged on debt generated in a collateralized debt position. These fees are paid by borrowers to the protocol, and they serve as a tool for the protocol to manage the supply and demand of the borrowed asset.

If the protocol needs to reduce the supply of a stablecoin, it may increase the stability fee to discourage borrowing and encourage repayment. Conversely, lowering the fee can stimulate borrowing and increase liquidity in the system.
