## Relays

Relays serve as the trusted intermediaries between block builders and validators in the MEV-Boost architecture. Their main function is to receive full blocks from builders, verify their validity, and provide the header to the validator for signing.

Once the validator signs the header, the relay releases the full block to the network for propagation. This process ensures that validators can commit to a block without having to download or execute it themselves, which preserves the validator's privacy and prevents the builder from stealing the MEV.

Relays play a critical role in maintaining the security and efficiency of the block production pipeline. They are essential for preventing malicious builders from submitting invalid blocks that could harm the network.
