## Put Writer

A put writer is a person who sells a put option and collects the premium. They are obligated to buy the underlying stock at the strike price if the buyer exercises the option.

This strategy is bullish or neutral. If the stock price stays above the strike, the put expires worthless and the seller keeps the profit.

If it falls, they may have to purchase the stock.
