## Proposal Execution Security

Proposal Execution Security refers to the safeguards in place to ensure that once a governance proposal is passed, it is implemented exactly as intended without interference. This often involves using time-locks, where there is a mandatory delay between a vote passing and the execution of the code.

This gives the community time to review the changes and, if necessary, take action to stop a malicious proposal. Multi-signature wallets or security councils are also used to provide a final layer of human verification.

Ensuring that the execution is secure is just as important as the voting process itself. A failure here could allow an attacker to override the community's will.

It is a critical component of the "code is law" philosophy.
