## No-Touch Options

No-touch options are binary derivatives that pay a fixed amount if the underlying asset price never touches a specified barrier level during the entire life of the contract. If the barrier is touched at any point, the option immediately expires worthless.

These are the inverse of one-touch options and are used to bet on market stability or range-bound behavior. In the context of crypto, these are useful for traders who believe an asset will stay within a certain price range and want to profit from that stability.

They are effectively a bet against high volatility. The risk is that a single price spike, even if it is temporary, will knock out the option and cause the loss of the entire premium.

They require careful monitoring of market conditions and volatility levels. Because they pay out only if the price stays away from the barrier, they are a way to monetize the expectation of a quiet market.

Their pricing is the inverse of the one-touch option pricing model.
