## LP Token Value

LP token value represents the ownership stake a liquidity provider has in a specific liquidity pool, typically issued as a token upon depositing assets. The value of this token fluctuates based on the performance of the underlying assets, the trading fees accumulated, and any impermanent loss experienced.

As the pool grows, the LP token acts as a claim on the proportional share of the pool's assets. Tracking the value of these tokens is crucial for liquidity providers to monitor their performance and decide when to withdraw.

Because they are often transferable, LP tokens can also be used as collateral in other DeFi protocols, a practice known as liquidity compounding or leverage. Understanding their value is fundamental to active liquidity management.
