## Lorenz Curve

The Lorenz curve is a graphical representation of the distribution of token wealth across a population of addresses. It plots the cumulative percentage of the total token supply against the cumulative percentage of addresses, ordered from the smallest to the largest holdings.

If the distribution were perfectly equal, the curve would follow a 45-degree diagonal line, known as the line of equality. The distance between the actual Lorenz curve and this line of equality provides a visual measure of wealth concentration within the network.

A curve that bows further away from the diagonal indicates a higher degree of inequality and centralization. This tool is frequently used alongside the Gini coefficient to provide a clear picture of how wealth is stratified in a crypto ecosystem.

It helps developers and researchers assess the fairness of incentive structures and the effectiveness of community distribution models.
