Interoperability Risk Assessment
Interoperability risk assessment is the process of evaluating the security and stability risks introduced when different protocols or blockchains interact. Because protocols are increasingly modular, they often rely on external calls, cross-chain bridges, or shared assets, each of which introduces a new attack surface.
A vulnerability in one component can compromise the security of the entire integrated system. Assessment involves rigorous auditing of the interaction logic, monitoring for bridge exploits, and stress testing the assumptions made by each protocol about the others.
