## Exchange Policy

Exchange policy includes all the rules, terms, and requirements that a trading platform sets for its users. This includes things like margin requirements, liquidation procedures, fees, and rules against market manipulation.

Every exchange has its own policy, and it is the responsibility of the trader to understand it. Before using an exchange, you should read their policy carefully.

Many traders ignore this and only find out about the rules when they have a problem. This is a mistake.

The exchange policy is the law of the land, and it determines how your trades are executed, how your margin is managed, and how you are treated as a customer. Knowing the policy can give you an edge and protect you from unnecessary issues.

It is a part of the due diligence that every professional trader performs. When you trade on an exchange, you are agreeing to follow their policy, so make sure you know what you are agreeing to.

It is the foundation of your relationship with the platform.
