Delegator Net Yield
Delegator net yield is the actual profit a staker receives after all commissions, slashing penalties, and operational costs are accounted for. It is the most accurate measure of the return on investment for a participant in a proof of stake network.
Because different validators have different fee structures and performance histories, the net yield can vary significantly even within the same protocol. Calculating this yield requires tracking reward distributions and subtracting any incurred losses from downtime or slashing.
For sophisticated investors, maximizing net yield involves active monitoring and the potential reallocation of stakes to better-performing validators.
