Attribute-Based Access Control
Attribute-Based Access Control is a method of restricting access to resources based on the attributes of the user, the resource, and the environment. In the context of derivatives, this means that a user can only access certain instruments if they meet specific criteria, such as having a minimum amount of capital or a specific residency.
This approach is highly dynamic and can be updated in real-time as the user's attributes change. It provides a more granular level of control than traditional role-based access systems.
By using cryptographic proofs, the protocol can verify these attributes without needing to know the user's identity. This balances the need for security with the need for privacy.
