TWAP VWAP Strategies

Algorithm

TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) and VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price) strategies are algorithmic execution methods designed to minimize market impact when fulfilling large orders. A TWAP strategy divides a large order into smaller segments and executes them at regular time intervals, aiming to achieve an average price close to the time-weighted average price over the execution period. A VWAP strategy similarly breaks down the order but paces execution based on historical or real-time volume distribution.
