Stealth Address Privacy

Mechanism

Stealth address privacy is a cryptographic mechanism designed to enhance transaction anonymity by generating a unique, one-time recipient address for each transaction. This mechanism prevents external observers from linking multiple transactions to a single wallet address, thereby obscuring the recipient’s identity. When funds are sent, the sender uses a shared secret to derive a new, ephemeral address that only the intended recipient can scan for and control. It effectively breaks the deterministic link between a public key and transaction history. This enhances user confidentiality.
