Searcher-Validator Collaboration

Interaction

Searcher-validator collaboration refers to the strategic interaction between “searchers” (arbitrageurs or bots identifying profitable transactions) and “validators” (miners or block producers) in blockchain networks, particularly relevant for Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) in crypto derivatives. Searchers identify opportunities like arbitrage, liquidations, or sandwich attacks and submit bundles of transactions. Validators, who order transactions into blocks, can then prioritize, reorder, or censor these bundles to extract value. This interaction shapes transaction finality. It is a critical component of market microstructure.
