Quantum-Resistant Trading Platforms

Architecture

Quantum-resistant trading platforms necessitate a fundamental shift in cryptographic infrastructure, moving beyond algorithms susceptible to Shor’s algorithm and Grover’s algorithm. These platforms integrate post-quantum cryptography (PQC) schemes, such as lattice-based cryptography or multivariate cryptography, to secure key exchange and digital signatures. The design prioritizes hybrid approaches, combining classical and quantum-resistant algorithms for a phased transition and continued security during the standardization of PQC. Robust architecture also includes secure enclaves and hardware security modules (HSMs) to protect sensitive cryptographic keys and operations, mitigating risks associated with potential quantum attacks on derivative contracts.
