Meta Transaction Risks

Architecture

Meta transaction risks emerge primarily from the off-chain relayer model, which decouples the transaction requester from the entity submitting the transaction to the blockchain. This structural separation introduces a dependency on third-party relayers that can censor, delay, or selectively include transactions based on profitability or malice. Quantitatively, this creates a potential for front-running at the execution layer before the transaction ever reaches the smart contract state.
