Digital Asset Sovereignty

Custody

Digital asset sovereignty establishes the technical and legal autonomy of an investor to manage private keys and, by extension, the underlying cryptographic signatures required to authorize transactions. In the context of derivatives and options trading, this signifies that a market participant retains absolute control over collateral without delegating fiduciary responsibility to a centralized clearinghouse. By removing intermediary reliance, the holder mitigates counterparty risk while ensuring that assets remain under their direct technical jurisdiction during the life of a contract.
