Delegation

Staking

Delegation in the context of Proof-of-Stake networks refers to the process where token holders assign their staking rights to a validator node. This allows individuals to participate in network security and earn rewards without running their own infrastructure. The delegator’s tokens remain in their wallet, but their voting power is temporarily transferred to the validator. This mechanism democratizes participation in network consensus and enhances overall network security by increasing the total amount of staked capital.
