Decentralized Transaction Cost Analysis

Analysis

Decentralized transaction cost analysis (TCA) is a methodology used to quantify the total cost of executing trades on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and derivatives protocols. Unlike traditional TCA, this analysis must account for unique blockchain-specific costs, including variable gas fees, implicit costs from slippage, and the impact of Maximal Extractable Value (MEV). The goal is to measure execution quality and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
