Decentralized Transaction Broadcasting

Mechanism

Decentralized transaction broadcasting refers to the process of disseminating a transaction across a peer-to-peer network without relying on a single, centralized point of failure or control. When a user initiates a transaction, it is propagated through multiple nodes, often in an uncoordinated fashion, until it reaches a significant portion of the network. This ensures censorship resistance and resilience against single points of attack. The objective is to maximize the probability of inclusion in a block. This contrasts with centralized relay services.
