Capital Efficiency Evaluation

Metric

Capital efficiency evaluation in finance measures how effectively an entity utilizes its capital to generate returns or support its operations. Key metrics include Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), asset turnover ratio, and for DeFi, the collateralization ratio or utilization rate of lending pools. These indicators quantify the output achieved per unit of capital input. For derivatives trading, the margin-to-exposure ratio is often scrutinized. The objective is to determine if capital is deployed optimally, minimizing idle resources.
